Nahan Printing is Hiring an Associate Account Director Near Saint Cloud, MN

Summary: The Associate Account Director (AAD) manages day-to-day client relationships. This individual also collaborates with other team members (ie: account directors, account managers, creative, estimating, scheduling, outsourcing, accounting and finance) as well as outside partners (including providers of data, analytics, and digital media), who will help develop and implement solutions for Nahan’s clients.
AADs are expected to establish and maintain strong partnerships with assigned clients by ensuring successful execution of deliverables and providing excellent customer service.
AADs must gain and demonstrate a deep understanding of their clients’ business and marketing needs. This individual must be able to lead client discussions and convey Nahan solutions persuasively. AADs support Account Directors in ensuring all Nahan services and deliverables are provided to clients on-strategy, on-time, and on-budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicates regularly with clients, ensuring alignment of their needs and expectations with Nahan deliverables and performance
  • Persuasively present ideas, creative, etc. to clients as needed
  • Manage all agendas, meetings and notes related to clients as assigned by Account Director
  • Support the development of creative briefs, providing direction to creative team members based on client needs and requests
  • Route creative between client and Nahan creative team, ensuring clear direction and mark-ups are provided to creative and that all deadlines are met
  • Manage end-to-end campaign timelines from contract execution to production and mailing, including all services required such as creative, analytics, media, etc.
  • Develop internal labor estimates as requested by Account Director(s)
  • Provide input on statements of work (SOWs) – which document scope and pricing for all client deliverables – as requested by Account Director(s)
  • When requested, complete and share industry competitive reviews leveraging Nahan research tools
  • In partnership with Marketing, provide support to sales team including distribution of sales materials, sample packs, etc.
  • Attend hand-off meetings between creative and production teams to help ensure smooth execution
  • Keep supervisor current on issues that may affect the client-Nahan relationship, especially any problems or indications of dissatisfaction with Nahan performance
  • Other tasks as assigned

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Related Field
  • 7 Years of experience in marketing, direct mail and/or commercial printing industry
  • 3-5 years of client services/account management experience in a direct marketing agency
  • Experience managing complex direct mail accounts, ideally with strategy, analytics, digital and creative and media components
  • Strong understanding of the creative development process, including accurate intake of client direction and clear translation for internal teams
  • Ability to analyze problems and produce viable solutions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multi-task with little oversight in a highly entrepreneurial environment
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Hubspot, eCRM, or similar CRM system(s) is a plus
  • Position may require travel, up to 20%
